Founding Partner, Voulez Capital
Anya Navidski is the Founding Partner of Voulez Capital – Europe’s first VC for female founders – and is dedicated to building a new type of a VC firm, one driven by Fair Venture Principles.
Anya has almost twenty years of experience in building businesses and in finance of organisations and transactions across multiple sectors and geographies. Having gained her initial training with the likes of PwC project finance, Goldman Sachs M&A, and as an economist with NERA Economic Consulting (part of Marsh McLennon Group), she then pursued an entrepreneurial career. Prior to Voulez Capital she was regularly called in by investors to help turn around growth companies, ran a £250m renewable energy venture, was the Founder and CEO of Jumpstart-up (where she developed a unique programme that prepared early stage social impact ventures in energy, healthcare and education for investment from foundations and venture capitalists) and was an Executive Director of the INSEAD Centre for Entrepreneurship.
She has advised a European government on structuring and execution of an innovative investment fund to provide liquidity for and to facilitate international growth of “technology SME champions” and was an advisor to JP Morgan at a senior level, on renewable energy, project finance and innovative funding instruments.
She is an Investor in Residence at Google for Startups, London, has been featured in various publications, including the Financial Times, and has been recognised as one of the most notable women and a Catalyst Hero by TheNextWomen.com.
Anya holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc in Economics from Warwick University.
