Hema is the founder & CEO of LatentBridge, an intelligent automation firm with a game-changing ‘Pay-as-you-Go’ platform which accelerates enterprises automation adoption in an easy and flexible way. She has significant experience in managing Technology, Digital, Consulting and Operations practices involving strategy, sales, and delivery. This experience has been gained across multiple locations including the UK, USA and Asia.She has been instrumental in guiding enterprises on what change in digital strategy enhances customer experience and increased revenue generation.

Having built and scaled Fintech businesses, at LatentBridge, Hema’s endeavour is to make intelligent automation accessible to every enterprise.

Outside of LatentBridge, Hema is passionate about inspiring women to work towards their aspirations and creating enterprises whilst balancing personal life. She was recognised in the Powerlist of ‘Women in Fintech’.

What is it about FinTech that excites you?

Banks are highly regulated institutions, steeped in history, whose products are largely digital with significantly reduced physical interactions. Changing regulations and innovative technologies mean that their business models are in a high degree of flux and facing disruption. For new entrants, its highly exciting times but they need to scale up at a fast pace with differentiated offerings. To be able to operate in this environment and to have the privilege to work with our clients to solve problems or improve on solutions is very exciting and rewarding.

What do you envisage being the biggest development in FinTech in the next 5 years?

Adoption of Blockchain and Quantum computing

What do you enjoy doing in your time away from work?

Cycling, yoga and mentoring entrepreneurs

What is the biggest change that you have witnessed in the sector over the past 12 months?

Large investments being made in AI by Financial Services sector; and we have only scratched the surface
