Head of Communications UK, Funding Circle

As part of the UK leadership team, Natasha is responsible for communications and policy in the UK, Funding Circle’s largest market. This includes corporate communications, media relations, public affairs and policy, and internal communications. Over the last six years she has built and scaled communications strategy and capability to support the company’s growth in the UK from 60 to 600 people.
Funding Circle launched in 2010 and became the first lending platform dedicated to facilitating finance to small businesses. Investors have lent £8.1 billion to 77,000 businesses globally. Natasha is a spokesperson, and represents the organisation in Whitehall, Westminster and Brussels.
Natasha also sits on Funding Circle’s Diversity & Inclusion leadership team and runs their women’s network, ‘Women@FC’. This includes the external arm ‘FinTech Women’, established to give women working in FinTech a strong voice, sense of community and opportunities for networking and professional development. The group now has over 1000 members and has begun to build a partnership programme with other FinTechs.
Natasha was previously a consultant at Fishburn Hedges advising clients on corporate communications. She read Social Policy with Government at the London School of Economics, and is currently an MBA candidate at Warwick Business School.
