Sue is a Partner in the technology practice of global law firm Baker McKenzie, co-chair of the firm’s London FinTech practice and global tech lead for FinTech & Blockchain.
Sue specialises in technology law, including outsourcing, cloud, Ai, digital transformation, FinTech and blockchain. The financial services sector is a key focus of Sue’s practice. Her clients include some of the world’s best-known financial institutions, leading tech companies and fast growing FinTechs. Sue is co-chair of the firm’s EMEA Financial Institutions industry group and a member of the firm’s global steering committee.
Sue is on the editorial board of the Journal for Digital Banking, a member of techUK ‘s Distributed Ledger Technology Working Group, a member of the TLA Blockchain Legal & Regulatory Group and a mentor on the Accenture FinTech Incubator programme. Sue regularly speaks and writes about the intersection of financial services and technology, fintech, blockchain and crypto assets.
Sue is an active diversity champion. Sue is a member of the Baker Women steering committee, the Law Society Women Lawyers Division committee, founder and chair of the SCL Women in Tech Law network and an Inspiring the Future mentor.
