When is IFGS 2019 taking place?

How many delegates are we expecting and who should we expect in the room?
Between 2250 – 2500

UK FinTech Week 2019
IFGS 2019 will be kicking off UK FinTech Week. The Week runs from Monday April 29th – Friday 2nd May and is in partnership with Innovate Finance, HM Treasury, the Department for International Trade, the London Stock Exchange, the Financial Conduct Authority, the City of London Corporation and London and Partners. The rest of the weeks activities are still in planning stages and will be shared when more information is available.
Innovate Finance has secured discounted rooms at a number of hotels close to the Guildhall. This information will be available on our website by November 2018. If you have any immediate hotel enquiries, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
There will be an event app again for IFGS 2019, this will go live one month prior to the event in March 2019 and delegates will be able to personalise their schedule and connect with attendees.
Is there an event newsletter?
Yes we do have an events newsletter. You can sign-up here. This is a monthly communication from October 2018 – February 2019 to provide speaker, agenda and exhibitor updates. Registered delegates will also receive exclusive communications such as sign-ups to fringe events, roundtables, workshops and office hours.
When are our keynotes and speakers released?
Our speakers and keynotes are always released in waves. You will be able to view all our first wave speakers in November and December, with the second wave to follow in January and February. We will also release a few of our big keynotes throughout this time period and through March and April so stay tuned!
When is the event agenda released?
You can download our first agenda summary right here which highlights all the key tracks we will be covering at the event. We will be releasing our full agenda at the end of January 2019. Available on our website and in PDF format.
Is Pitch360 taking place this year?
Please be aware Pitch360 will not be run in the same format this year. The format is still being finalised and details will be released in due course.
There is no specific dress code for the event.
Wheelchair access is available at the event.
All dietary needs are catered for.
TICKET INFORMATION – INNOVATE FINANCE MEMBERS
What happens if members have pre-registered for tickets?
Once official ticket registration opens, those that have pre-registered will be contacted and where appropriate names will be sent to our registration system and payment will be requested if required.
Do members receive complimentary tickets and if so how many?
All Innovate Finance members receive complimentary tickets which you can access via a member code. The number depends on your tier of membership. If you would like to find out about your allocation and code please click here.
Where do members go to register for tickets?

What if I have a problem registering for my ticket?
Please contact email@example.com directly, highlighting your problem and they will respond to your issue and assist as quickly as possible.
Do members have to pay for tickets once they reach their allocation?
Yes, members are required to pay for additional tickets if they have reached their allocation. This is at a highly discounted price point. Please enquire here to find out more.
Are members guaranteed speaking and exhibition spots?
We cannot guarantee speaking slots for all members. However, we always aim for between 30-40% of our speaker faculty to be from our member companies. As a member if you would like to apply to speak you can go to the speaker application form here.
Members do not all receive exhibition spots, however they are always prioritised where possible. If members would like to apply for an exhibition space, they can fill our this application form here. They would be informed of confirmed exhibition space no later than December 2018.
Do members receive discounted sponsorship rates?
Yes, all members who would like to sponsor IFGS receive discounted rates across Gold, Silver and Bronze packages. If you would like to discuss sponsorship opportunities please speak to Caroline Vaughan here.

When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets are on sale from Monday 29th October 2018 at 9am.
How much are ticket prices and are there any packages?
Standard delegate tickets are at set price tiers and start on 29th October 2018.
Innovator: 29th October 2018 – 14th December 2018: £495
Early Adopter: 15th December 2018 – 31st January 2019: £795
Early Majority: 1st February 2019 – 29th March 2019 – £1095
Laggards: 30th March 2019 – 29th April 2019 – £1495

Do we provide discount codes?
Not typically, unless you are an official partner or associate of the event. If you would like to enquire to see if you do qualify for a discounted ticket please click here.
Do we provide media passes?
Yes we do provide media passes to IFGS 2019. However, it is essential that we receive your accreditation. Media passes can be requested here.
Do we have a student discount/rate?
Yes, we do provide a discounted student rate. We will need to confirm this via a valid student number, to request a student code please click here.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED – SPEAKING
Speaking at IFGS 2019
We have a speaker application form on the website here so that those interested can express their interest. This forms the first step in assessment carried forward by our IFGS curator. You will be informed our your application status by the end of December/January at the very latest.
Is there a cost associated with speaking?
No there is no cost associated with speaking. However, please note we do not cover speaker travel expenses.
When can speakers find out if their application to speak was successful?
Due to the high-volume of speaker applications we receive daily, the team will ensure to get back to your within an appropriate amount of time.
Will there be Speakers’ Dinner this year? Where will it take place
There will not be speakers’ dinner this year. Instead, there will be speakers’ drinks reception. Venue and timings will be announced once they are confirmed.
Can speakers bring guests?
Yes, speakers can bring guests along. They are provided an additional complimentary ticket to do so.
How many speakers do we expect this year?
IFGS 2018 had over 200 speakers. This year is likely to showcase a similar if not larger number.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED – EXHIBITING
Exhibiting at IFGS 2019
We have a exhibition application form on the website here so that those interested can express their interest. This forms the first step in assessment carried forward by our events team. Exhibitors would be confirmed for this year’s event no later than December/January.
Is there is a cost associated with exhibiting?
Unless your are a member, to exhibit at the Summit has an associated cost. You can find more information on pricing and specifications here.
Do exhibitors get additional tickets/how is the stand manned?
Two complimentary passes are included in the exhibition package.
Can exhibitors bring banners to put up and collateral to hand out?
Exhibitors cannot bring banners to put up at the event due to the restrictions of the venue. However, your stand will be branded clearly with your logo and information. Exhibitors can also bring collateral to hand out at their exhibition stand. If this collateral needs to be shipped to the Guildhall before the day of the Summit, the IFGS events team must be informed.
