Kristy Duncan is a sought-after advisor, investor, and speaker who has dedicated her career to empowering the professional and personal development of women in the payments and fintech industry.
She founded Women in Payments, a global organization that connects, educates, and champions women in the payments industry. Prior to that, Kristy was a leading global payments consultant. She advised C-suite leaders at global financial institutions, payments networks, fintechs, regulators, and more. Prior to that, she held leadership positions at a tier one Canadian bank in the areas of corporate treasury, transaction banking, finance, and operations.
Today, Kristy works closely with fintech founders to help them build pivotal relationships, secure funding, and take their businesses to the next level.
The UK’s Innovate Finance and Lloyds Bank named Kristy to their Women in Fintech Power List in 2019, 2018, and 2017, notably in the elite Standout 35 category in 2019. Singapore-based Lattice 80 named her to their Global 100 Power Women in Fintech List twice. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Certified Cash Manager designation.
