What is it about IFGS that brings you back every year? OR What is it about IFGS that has brought you to the event this year?
Tide works closely with the industry and policymakers to change business banking for the better.  This is a major event that brings together these stakeholder groups

What is the biggest change you have seen in the FinTech industry over the past 12 months?
We see two major trends.  One (FinTech wide), is digital adoption becoming mainstream.   Second (more SME related), is the RBS Alternative Remedies Package and the potential for sector transformation these grants provide (NB: Tide, through their partnership with ClearBank, have just been awarded £60m).

What do you believe to be the most vital implication of Brexit on UK Fintech?
At the time of writing, it is still unclear what form (if any) the Brexit will take.  This causes material uncertainty.  For FinTechs, we believe the most important impact will be on attracting (oversea talent).

What are your go-to reads for industry updates and insights?
For industry insights from practitioners, I increasingly turn to LinkedIn and Medium.  For media coverage, I typically work on Google Alters to pick up relevant articles – as well as relying on Tide’s and our investors’ media monitoring.

If you could be stuck in a lift with 3 people who would it be and why?
Three is too few as I am not only blessed with an amazing wife but also have four wonderful children.  More than anyone else, I would love to be stuck with them for the love and support they give me.
