Isabelle Gallo appointed Partner at Breega
Paris, Friday 20th February, 2020 - Isabelle Gallo, 33 years old and Principal at Breega since 2018, is promoted to Partner thus becoming Breega's first non-founding partner.
Originally from Antibes in Southern France and an ESSEC business school graduate, Isabelle began her career at Bain & Company in Paris as a strategy consultant and advisor to European business leaders in the private equity, retail and media sectors.
Looking to start her own business, Isabelle co-founded Pepeats in 2014, an application dedicated to restaurateurs and bars, which is still active today. After a few years as CEO of Pepeats, Isabelle then left her position to become an advisor and member of the board of directors.
Still passionate about entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem and looking to play an active role in supporting startup founders, Isabelle decided in 2016 to become a venture capitalist. She joined Breega- a young VC fund specialised in financing early-stage high tech startups at Seed/Series A level- when it was launching its very first fund and went on to play an active role in its development.
"I chose to join Breega because I wanted to partake in the construction of this new model for supporting and boosting founders. I found the idea of helping to change the way VCs did business by offering operational and concrete assistance to startups very exciting. I also fell in love with the founding team, whose values and vision I share. - Isabelle GALLO, Partner
"Isabelle has been part of the Breega adventure from the very beginning. We are delighted to welcome her as a Partner. Her discernment, energy and enthusiasm are real assets. She is an entrepreneur who fully understands the challenges of start-ups and whose experience and advice are highly appreciated by the founders she accompanies". -François PAULUS, Founding Partner.
Already an active member of the boards of promising startups such as Libeo, Eyelights, Gymlib, Trustpair and SoSure (UK), in her new role as Partner, Isabelle will be more specifically in charge of developing the fund's Fintech, Insurtech and Healthtech investments.
