Last month, Ripple awarded us with its Blockchain Innovation – Best Connector Award at their SWELL event in Singapore. Luke Catajar, an account manager at Ripple noted during the ceremony that “During 2019 they [MNI] have on-boarded more than 10 partners and many financial institutions from all over the world offering their customers a frictionless and effective solution for EUR SEPA clearing.”
While it is always thrilling to win awards, what the Best Connector Award really means to MoneyNetint is recognition of our ability to transform global into local. It is so easy to be overwhelmed by the idea of growing a global business. Simply crossing one border introduces new regulations, currencies, and challenges.
There may be new languages and different cultures to navigate. There is nothing easy about expanding outside of your comfort zone, and offering your products or services to new markets.
We recognise that challenge in every global business, and our goal, every single day, is to take any challenges relating to payments, and ensure our customers know that we will be there to take care of them. Through tools like RippleNet, we are able to simplify and actualise global ideas like cross border payments, currency exchange, and international payments.
“During 2019 MNI have on-boarded more than 10 partners and many financial institutions from all over the world offering their customers a frictionless and effective solution for EUR SEPA clearing.”
Our customers benefit from an offering that helps a company in London make a “local” payment to a vendor or employee in Nigeria, New York, São Paulo, India or Hong Kong. By helping our customers handle the financial side of their business, it frees them to develop business strategies and infrastructure needed to develop and sell their products and services around the world.
The Best Connector Award will continue to remind us at MoneyNetint of the important role we play in localising global financial services, which is at the core of what we do for our customers.
