Women in FinTech Workshop: Executive Shine with Streets Consulting

Location: Innovate Finance Floor 7 2 Finsbury Avenue, Moorgate EC2M 2PP

Date: 25/10/2018

Time: 05:00 PM - 08:00 PM

As part of Innovate Finance’s Women in FinTech initiative, this 3 hour workshop from Streets Consulting is designed for any rising fintech executive, focused on helping you build your communications skills and confidence.

And with a difference……

You will be coached by Lara A King, a award-winning stand up comedian who travels the world helping organisations and executives communicate effectively.

Lara brings a combination of comedy and theatrical techniques to look at each individual’s style and current needs and train them each to present as the best possible version of themselves.

Looking at:

Connection with an audience. Whether that is with one person over the phone or a thousand people in an auditorium – how to connect in a way that is warm, personable and authentic

Vocal technique. How to breathe correctly and project naturally in order to get your voice heard and understood from the stage, in meetings and over the phone.

Body Language. How you stand, how you gesture, the impact you have when you walk into a room, eye contact, posture, what shape are you in?

Storytelling. How to bring yourself to the presentation in a way that makes you easy to listen to, engaging and memorable.

Energy. Your energy informs the audience and lets them know how to respond. How to keep energy levels high and know when to calm down. How to express yourself with passion and expression whilst remaining professional and articulate.
