Wolverhampton. 19th April 2021. jobmate, the software development experts, have been recognised as the Best Software Company in Wolverhampton by the independent business analyst BestStartup.co.uk.

The brainchild of Wolverhampton resident and CEO Chris Dalton, jobmate is an app designed to help the self-employed and trades professionals better manage and improve their business by simplifying key administrative functions so they can capture costs and activities all in one place.

“We’re delighted to receive this accolade,“ says Dalton. “Working with my jobmate co-founders, Mike Smith and Wendy Dalton, we asked small business owners how an app of this sort could best serve their day-to-day needs and came up with a digital solution which not only cuts out time-consuming paperwork, but also saves time and money.”

To this end, explains Chris, all administration including quotes, diary notes, stock control and invoices is captured in one place which, according to jobmate, makes every task easier to manage and gives time back to otherwise busy business owners.

For West Midlands owner of Supreme Clean Specialists, Stuart Larmer, there’s no doubt how the new jobmate app helps his business: “The app brings so many great features & functions together, all of which make running my business easier. All-round, it’s a handy business management tool.”

BestStartup.co.uk selected companies in Wolverhampton from cutting edge start-ups, to established brands - who in its view, demonstrate exceptional performance in areas such as innovation, growth and societal impact.

“Our aim,” said the company, “is to showcase the top UK businesses, encourage investment in them and promote British success wherever we see it.”

jobmate launched in the UK earlier this year and with offices now opened in New Jersey, USA and Galway, the company is preparing to introduce its jobmate app to small businesses and the self-employed of North America, Canada and Ireland during 2021.
