Doris Honold

Doris is the Group Chief Operating Officer. She joined Standard Chartered in March 2007.
As Group Chief Operating Officer, Doris supports the Group Chief Executive in defining and executing the business strategy, reinforcing exemplary control and governance, ensuring strategic functional alignment and enabling business growth through efficiency. She was also appointed as a director of Standard Chartered AG Germany in September 2017.
Doris is a member of the Bank’s Management Team. She is involved in several cross-functional initiatives to steer the Group’s on-going control and governance and thought-leadership in a range of areas. Doris also serves as the curator for the Standard Chartered art collection.
Prior to this Doris served as the Group Head of Market Risk and the Chief Operating Officer for Wholesale Banking, based in both London and Singapore.
Doris started her career at Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt, where she held several market risk leadership roles in Frankfurt, Tokyo and London, before taking over global responsibility for Dresdner Kleinwort’s market risk function.
Having grown up in Germany and worked in Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Singapore and London, Doris understands and values diversity.
Doris is a Non Executive Director of ZOPA (UK peer-to-peer lender) and member of the data analytics company DEVO’s Growth Advisory Board.
