Eva Gustavsson

As head of global government relations policy, Eva works closely with government and key stakeholders to help shape and influence public policy that covers digital commerce, online risk, fraud and consumer protections and other areas that impact PayPal’s operations in the UK and Europe. Respected as a credible leader, Eva is passionate about public policy and how it can help improve the lives of consumers and small business owners. 

Eva is Vice Chair and Trustee of PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered non-profit that partners with leading Internet businesses and uses PayPal technology to help charities of all sizes access more funds and engage with donors in new ways. 

Previously, Eva was at Barclays where she led a CEO sponsored initiative to create and implement a framework to manage regulatory relationships across the bank globally.  She later led the bank’s relationship management with the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority. Prior to joining Barclays, Eva was a consultant with the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, DC and London. 

She holds a degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and an MBA from London Business School. 

Outside of work, Eva loves to run in parks and on roads in and around her home in London.
