Nick Daley

Nick is an Investor at Fin Capital, a full lifecycle specialized B2B Fintech/Insurtech asset manager based in the US & UK.
Prior to Fin, Nick held roles across startups, large corporations, and venture funds. He began his career at Tilt, a P2P payments company acquired by Airbnb. Subsequently, Nick was selected to join the New Entrepreneur Foundation’s Class of 2018 which included a placement on the Commercial team at the world’s largest online gaming company, Flutter.
Most recently, Nick was a Senior Associate at Plug and Play Ventures in California. Whilst there, he was closely involved in 22 investments, spanning from pre-seed to Series B, leading 8 including one board role. Key investments include Gr4vy, Taktile, Futureproof, and Automation Hero.
Nick was also responsible for the execution of innovation strategies for 21 global (re)insurers, carriers, brokers, and banks. This included the likes of Munich Re, Aon, Zurich, and Principal Financial.
Beyond tech, Nick enjoys playing football and is an avid Arsenal fan. He holds a BA Degree in History from the University of Exeter.
