I’m a qualified Cost & Works Accountant with over 25 years of experience in Financial Services. I started my career with Bank of America where I spent 3 years learning all about exceptional service. I then moved to ABN AMRO Bank to spend a decade building my banking career across service, sales, operations, contact centres and learning what good leadership looks and feels like. Most importantly it’s in this phase that I left my parents home in Kolkata and moved to New Delhi. When ABN AMRO decided to sell its business to Royal Bank of Scotland, I moved along to then spend the next 10 years with RBS/ NatWest Group to establish myself as a banking professional working across multiple environments and roles such as operations, remediation, audit, change management and transformation. I then took a big leap of courage and moved countries in the middle of the pandemic to work for Lloyd’s of London as their Head of Operations. I spent the last 2 years shaping the future vision of the iconic Lloyd’s building and setting up the design for the future digital organisation covering areas like service management, vendor management, data operations, operational resilience, and risk management. Having led digital transformations, I’ve realised that it’s all about leadership and people. I’m passionate about transforming Financial Services and supporting the advancement of the FinTech community to enable more inclusive, more accessible, and safer industry for customers and talent. I’m proud to be appointed by the Government as a Global Scot and I’m a Non-Executive Director with Innovate Finance.
On my personal front, I have been living in London for over a year. In my spare time, I love travelling, cooking and I’m a movie buff.
