Q. Tell everyone a little bit about yourself and your role at Innovate Finance

A. I am a Thai-born-Indian living in London, and currently head up Partnerships and Growth at Innovate Finance! My role is to ensure our members' needs are met, the people/companies who should be talking to each other are actually talking to each other, and that our community’s reach is expanding far and wide.

Q. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time away from work?

A.

  • Swimming – I am basically a fish, or an otter. Actually, probably an otter. A vegetarian otter who loves cheese.
  • Travel – I love to squeeze a break in whenever I can. Whether it’s a staycation or going abroad, I love discovering new places, cultures, landscapes and food.
  • Netflix – Just to wind down in the evenings after a long day.

Q. What are some of your favourite things about working in FinTech?

A. It’s such a diverse and vibrant community – everyone’s bubbling with so much energy and great ideas with the vision to make finance more inclusive for all. It makes me feel I am part of a greater cause.

Q. You can invite any 3 people to your dinner party. Who do you choose and why?

A. As star-struck as I am… If I were to host one tomorrow with absolutely no travel restrictions and no Covid-19 to worry about, I would say my mother, my brother and my sister-in-law as we are spread over three continents and it has been difficult to plan anything. The dinner party will take place at my humble abode, hosted by my husband and me, and I am going to “MasterChef” a seven-course meal to ensure it is an epic reunion!
