Sofie is CEO and Co-Founder of hiveonline – sustainable digital finance for the next billion. Prior to founding hiveonline, Sofie held senior roles in development, systems architecture, infrastructure and business transformation for eight international banks in >60 countries. Sofie's writing includes Fintech Revolution (2018, with Rob Allen) and multiple research papers including the 2021UNCDF/UNDP papers on the impact of big Fintech on the least developed countries. She advises central banks and the UN on blockchain and chairs the Edinburgh Futures Institute's Industry Advisory Panel.
